If you drive a Mazda Bravo you'll know just how solid and reliable it is. If you need a Ute for work, or just like getting out into Australia's wide open spaces, this is an ideal vehicle to choose. With a choice of cab sizes and a roomy bed at the back it can do pretty much anything you ask of it, and it doesn't take a lot of work to make it even more capable than it already is. Tough Toys is the perfect place to start when you're looking at upgrading your Bravo, because we're enthusiastic 4wd specialists and we stock a great range of competitively priced accessories and gear.
If you have a Bravo – or any other Mazda B Series – and you enjoy getting away from it all, you're probably used to loading a few extra fuel containers into the bed before you set off. After all it can be hard to find fuel in the Outback (even if you have one of our Hema maps with you) and carrying a little reserve is just good sense. Jerrycans are heavy and awkward though, and they take up space you could fit something else in. Why not use extra space inside your Ute's body instead? We supply Brown Davis long range tanks that just bolt in to replace the original one, but have a huge 100 litre capacity.
A lightbar is a real aid to off road driving because it's positioned above the reach of dust and mud from the road. That can make a big difference to visibility at night. Spotlights are useful too, either as extra driving lights or to throw some illumination down into your Ute bed. Tough Toys spots and bars use the latest LED technology to give you a super powerful and super robust source of light.
The Bravo's four wheel drive makes it extremely mobile off road, but Australia can be a rugged country and there are places out there even a Bravo will struggle with. Before heading off you need to make sure you have the recovery gear to haul yourself out of any sticky spots. We have a full range, from snatch straps and shackles to exhaust jacks. If you're really serious about being repaired, and want to be able to self-recover when there's nobody around to help, consider fitting a winch too.
We're big fans of 4wd touring in a Ute and the Bravo makes a great choice. Make your overnight stops comfortable with our camping gear. If you have a crew cab with roofbars one of our Tough awnings will fit right on and give you a covered space to relax in. We also have mozzie nets, coking gear and a lot more. Whatever you need to get the most out of your Bravo we can help you.
