Transform your 1997-July 2006 Mitsubishi MK Triton Extra Cab with this premium set of fibreglass flares. Designed to deliver a rugged look and reliable protection, these aftermarket flares are not OEM replacements but offer a factory-style appearance with enhanced durability.
Product Details These flares come in a gel coat finish of gloss black or white. For a more resilient and UV-resistant finish, painting is recommended. The painting process is straightforward: sand, prime, sand again, and paint—just like you would with standard vehicle panels. We advise pre-fitting the flares before painting to ensure the perfect fit.
Kit Includes:
Fitting Instructions To install, screw the front and rear guard flares to the underlip of the guards. Attach the door flares using the fibreglass door fitting brackets provided. For a secure installation, we recommend using 8 gauge, 20mm button head screws (not included).
For the rubber seals, use contact adhesive. This type of adhesive ensures the seals stay attached while allowing for removal if you choose to repaint the flares later. Avoid using heavy-duty glues or silicones. Ensure the rubber seals are attached before fitting the flares, as they are crucial for proper installation.
Additional Parts:
Important Notes These flares are aftermarket and not OEM parts. Designed for MK Triton Extra Cab models from 1997 to July 2006, they offer a strong, durable build similar to factory designs. Minor adjustments may be needed for vehicles with guard rails. Any superficial imperfections can be addressed during painting, ensuring a flawless finish.
Disclaimer FRP flares are not genuine Mitsubishi parts, and FRP is not responsible for ensuring your vehicle complies with local regulations. Always check your State or Territory's guidelines before fitting aftermarket products. While we aim for high quality, occasional surface imperfections may occur but do not affect the flares' structural integrity.
